 BOSS ® 888 Neutral RTV silicon Gasket Maker makes gaskets instantly for high temperature applications up to 650°F replaces most cut gaskets. Forms to any shape instantly. Resists cracking, shrinking and migration caused by thermal cycling,. resists water, oil, and antifreeze. For valve covers, oil pans, intake manifolds, and seals, timing covers, thermostat housings and more.
NOT RECOMMENDED FOR USE ON COMPONENTS CONTINUOUSLY IN CONTACT WITH GASOLINE.
CAUTION ON CONTACT, UNCURED SEALANT CAUSES IRRITATION.
Avoid contact with eyes and skin, Contact lens wearers take approriate precautions. INCASE OF CONTACT, flush eyes with water. Call a physician. Remove from skin with a dry cloth or paper towel. Use adequate ventilation.

Clean all surfaces throughly. Dry and remove all oil and grease. |

Remove cap, puncture seal, screw on nozzle and cut to desired size. |

Apply continuous, uniform bead to one surface, surrounding all bolt holes. Remove excess silicone and assemble components. Leave thickness for gasket. Do not over tighten th bolts. |

Tigheting bolts again is not required. |

Silicone will dry in 60 Minutes and fully cure and bond in 24 hours at 70°F and 50% humidity. Allow more time in cold or dry weather. |
